I believe training plans are not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Each training plan is centered toward your individualized needs (goals for training, availability, health considerations, etc.). During our first meeting, we will collaborate on creating a training schedule (this will be created through Final Surge) that works for you and adjust as needed moving forward. This collaboration process is key so we can fine-tune a plan that upholds consistency, adequate recovery, and musculoskeletal adaptation.

That is okay! I work with a wide range of athletes ranging from some folks simply wanting to develop a base fitness whereas others are very experienced athletes racing competitively with a very specific time/outcome goal. We can adjust as needed at any point. I will often ask athletes to think of both process and performance goals to dig a bit deeper into the “why and how” underneath a goal.

I want running to be as accessible as possible without money being a significant barrier. Contact me via email if you are curious about this.

There are so many options for gear that exist today which can certainly be overwhelming. My ask is that you start with finding a comfortable pair of running shoes (no more than 400 miles on the pair of shoes) that work for you according to comfort and terrain type (road/trails/etc.). This will be the cheapest route to get started and we can go into further detail of more gear if needed.
